See Which Process is Blocking Sleep Mode on Your PC

Windows-logo How many times did you find that your PC did not go into Sleep mode? It happens sometimes because some process which is running on your PC is blocking it from going into Sleep mode. Lets see which process is keeping your system awake.

For Windows 7 & 8 users:

Right click at the bottom left corner of the screen to bring up Windows Tools menu, select Command Prompt (Admin).

Select-Command-prompt-from-the-tools-menu

Type the following command in Command Prompt:

powercfg /requests

Power-config-requests-in-Command-prompt

Here from the screenshot above you can see that one process and two drivers are blocking your system from going into Sleep mode.
