How to Get Notified When Chrome Extensions Get Updated

Google Chrome has got great number of extension that give awesome functionality to the browser. If you have too many extensions installed on your browser it becomes hard to keep track of extensions that are getting updated automatically. With automatically updated extensions on your browser you can see that new features and functionality are added.

Chrome extensions update themselves to a newer versions automatically, there will be no notification and it is done silently. To get notified when extension is updated you need Chrome Update Notifier.

Chrome Update Notifier is an extension of Chrome which notifies user when extensions in Google Chrome get updated automatically to newer versions. It will also monitors browser version changes and will notify you when browser gets updated.

Other than this you can choose to manually update Google Chrome extensions. To do that go to Settings > Extension, check Developer mode option. You will see a button Update extensions now, click on it to update extensions that are installed on your browser.
