How to Disable Seen or Read Receipt Feature in Facebook Chat

Facebook Chat shows ‘seen at 12:34’ for chat messages which tells other person on the chat that you have read the message. Facebook itself does not provide an option to disable it. Sometimes this feature can be annoying as you don't want the other person to know that you have read the message.

In such case just install Chat Undetected in your browser, the other person on the chat will never know that you have read the message.

There is another tool which can help you to turn off Read Receipt feature on Facebook Chat. Install Chrome extension FB Unseen. FB Unseen blocks “seen” feature and your friends will no longer be able to see if you read their messages. But you will still be able to see if your friends read your messages.
