Quick Tip: How to Copy Contents of Error/Warning Dialog Box in Windows

We often encounter error/warning messages on our PC. To find solutions to these error/warning messages we search using the error dialog box contents.

Here actually you have to type each word looking at the error dialog box. But you don't have to do that because you can easily copy the contents of error/warning dialog box to the Windows Clipboard. Simply press Ctrl + C when you see error/warning message. The contents of the dialog box are copied to the Clipboard. Now paste those copied contents into the Notepad.

Suppose if I copy the Warning dialog box window as shown below.

Then the copied contents will look like this after you paste it in Notepad.

If you change a file name extension, the file may become unusable.

Now you can easily copy the contents of error message and do a search on the web to find the solution.
